Wednesday to Saturday
10:30 – 11:00 am Arrival and Settling In This initial half-hour allows students to relax and adjust to the environment, which may be different from home. During this "tuning-in" or "ice-breaking" period, they are free to sit quietly or engage in an activity of their choice, helping them feel comfortable and mentally prepared for the day ahead.
11:00 – 11:15 am Assembly The day formally begins with a short assembly. Students join Kalika Teacher in chanting the Omkar and Gayatri Mantras. Although stillness and concentration can be challenging for many, this daily practice promotes physical calm, mental clarity, and improved focus.
11:15 – 11:30 am Short Break A brief transition break gives students time to reset and prepare for the upcoming activities.
11:30 am – 1:30 pm Vocational Activities Students engage in hands-on vocational tasks that encourage teamwork, coordination, and cooperation. These sessions are key to developing motor skills, sensory integration, cognitive function, and both interpersonal and intrapersonal awareness.
1:30 – 2:00 pm Lunch Time Beyond nourishment, lunch is a moment to practice empathy and mutual support. Students are encouraged to assist peers with mobility challenges or other needs, fostering a culture of care and cooperation.
2:00 – 3:00 pm Relaxation & Informal Interaction Older students may rest, nap, or watch TV. Meanwhile, teachers engage younger students in informal conversations, offering them a chance to share thoughts, experiences, and build meaningful connections.
3:00 – 3:30 pm Personal Development This reflective period is dedicated to discussions on topics such as physical changes, emotions, friendships, and self-awareness. Students are guided to understand their bodies and emotions and develop responsible, mature ways to manage their needs. Music sessions are often conducted during this time on Saturdays.

11:00 am – 1:30 pm Gym & Physical Activities Students participate in a range of outdoor activities including exercises, dancing, and games. These sessions are designed to promote physical fitness, coordination, enjoyment, and overall well-being.
